Materials:

Amazing Mold Putty
Amazing Mold Rubber
Amazing Casting Resin
Alumilite Dye - Brown
Makin's Clay® - Persimmon
DecoArt® Metallic Lustre™ - Iced Expresso
Bronze eye pin, jump rings, chain, closure
Jewelry pliers
Real acorns

Instructions:

Mix enough Amazing Mold Putty, according to manufacturer instructions, to mold acorn and cap separately.   Divide into two pieces.  Push acorn cap into one piece, and acorn with cap into second, laying sideways, to create molds.  Let set about 15 minutes, remove cap and acorn from molds.

To make full acorn mold, use a small amount of hot glue to mount acorn top down in extra mixing cup.  Mix Amazing Mold Rubber, according to manufacturer instructions, and pour into cup covering acorn.   Let set and gently remove acorn from mold.

Using the acorn as a guide, trim the eye pin to fit so the eye will be about 1/8" above the acorn

Mix enough Amazing Casting Resin to fill acorn mold according to manufacturer instructions.  Add a tiny bit of brown dye.  Pour into rubber acorn mold.  (I also molded an acorn in the sideways mold, and an extra cap with the "leftover resin" to use on future projects).  Insert the eye pin, and prop upright until resin cures.  Remove acorns from molds.

Press Persimmon Makin's Clay® into cap mold.  Press acorn top into clay. Let set about 10 minutes, them remove from mold.   Let clay set 24 hours.

Use fingertip to add a light touch of Ice Expresso DecoArt® Metallic Lustre to cap.

Add jump ring, chain and closure.
