Mama's Shamrock "Shake" etchall® Etched Martini Glass

I stopped at the local Dollar Tree recently to grab a few items, and this martini glass with a green stem caught my eye.   I immediately thought of St. Patrick’s Day, and then for some reason - McDonalds® Shamrock Shakes!   Then I laughed to myself and thought - hey, martini’s can be “shaken” - why not make a special martini glass for Mama’s Shamrock “Shake”!   With etchall®, Sizzix® and DecoArt® products, it's easy!

Materials:

Martini Glass (mine came with a green stem, but you could also use DecoArt® Glossy Accents® to paint your stem and base green)
etchall® Creme
etchall® Etchmask
DecoArt® Americana® Reusable Stick-On Stencils - Knock Out Alpha
DecoArt® Glass Paint Markers™ - Green, Gold
Sizzix® Big Shot™ Machine
Sizzix® Bigz Die Butterfly, Flower, Leaf & Shamrock
Sizzix® Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Skittle Dee Do Alphabet

Instructions:

Wash and dry glass.

Spell out SHAMROCK “SHAKE” with stencils on outside of glass.

Use Big Shot machine and die to cut shamrock from Etchmask.   Place Etchmask face down on alphabet die and cut out MAMA’S.

Place MAMA’S above SHAMROCK “SHAKE” and place shamrock on the opposite side centered between the words.

Apply etchall® creme to glass (not the stem and base), let set 15 minutes, return creme to bottle and wash glass.

Remove Etchmask and stencil letters.  Wash again.  Let dry.

Use DecoArt Glass Paint Markers to add gold and green dots around shamrock, around the base of the glass where it means the green stem, and a few dots around MAMA’S as accents.  Follow manufacturer’s directions to heat set marker.

Fill with your favorite green beverage and you are ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (year round!)
