Something Wicked Etched Coffee Mug

Materials:

etchall® Etching Creme

etchall® Stencil ComboPak 

etchall® Pick Tool 

etchall® Squeegee

Electronic die cutting machine (or stencils) 

Black ceramic mug 

Scissors 

Rub N Buff Silver

Instructions: 

Use electronic die cutting machine to cut out text and cat images from etchmask®. 

Use pick tool to remove the lettering and cats - we are using the negative space as a stencil.

Cut text and images into two pieces.   Use transfer paper from ComboPak to transfer the stencils to the mug.  Using the transfer paper ensures you transfer all the small details, centers of letters, etc. easily. 

Place scraps of etchmask™ around the stencils to protect surface of mug. 

  

Appy a thick coat of etchall® Creme.  Let set 15 minutes.  

Return etchall® Creme to bottle.  etchall® is re-usable! 

Wash mug and remove etchmask®.

Let dry. 

Apply Rub N Buff to etched areas to better highlight them against the balck background.
