This resin bracelet project is also featured this week in my Cindi's Creative Solutions article at When Creativity Knocks.
Materials:
Alumilite® White Casting Resin
Alumilite® Resin Dye - Black
Plaid® Mod Podge® Mold Molds - Patterns
DecoArt® Metallic Lustre™ - Gold Rush
Judikins Diamond Glaze™
Goldtone chain, jump rings, closure
Jewelry pliers
Heavy duty small hole punch
Instructions:
Mix very small amount of Alumilite® White Casting Resin according to manufacturer instructions. Add a few drops of black Alumilite® Resin Dye and mix thorougly.
Pour into square leopard mold. Pour any excess resin into other shapes.
Cure according to manufacturer instructions, removing square just before resin is totally cured (it will still be slightly flexible at this point). Gently bend and prop between resin bottles and allow to cure the rest of the way until fully set.
Apply a very light amount of Burnished Brass Metallic Lustre to highlight pattern on surface of each piece.
Apply thin coat of Judikins Diamond Glaze™ to surface to seal lustre. Let dry.
Use heavy duty small hole punch to punch 2 holes in each side of each piece.
Add jump rings and small sections of goldtone chain between each square. (Length of chain will depend upon desired finish length of bracelet.)
Add closure.
